Availability Update 🗓️
Summer dates are filling up quickly, especially June + July! I can currently accommodate just 1–2 more newborn sessions in June.

If you’re hoping to get on my calendar this summer, it’s always best to reach out early. Most families reserve their newborn session while they’re still pregnant, and I only take a limited number each month to make sure I’m available for each family I work with.

I always do my best to accommodate last-minute inquiries, but availability becomes much more limited the longer you wait 🤍

Like something straight out of a movie ✨❤️

The best sessions are always the ones where my clients can’t stop looking at each other. The little in-between moments, the laughter, the way they naturally settle into each other… those are the photos that end up meaning the most years from now.

One of my favorite parts of this job is exploring locations that are meaningful to my clients. While I’ll always love my tried-and-true spots, this beautiful field happened to be one of their favorite places, which made the session feel even more personal.

Cruz, I hope you always stay this sweet and silly. That you keep asking me to paint your nails without a second thought. The tiny details. The ones you don’t realize you’ll miss until they’re gone.

Wrinkly newborn feet that somehow turn into smelly toddler feet… and then one day, they’re borrowing your shoes 😩

Detail images are included in every newborn session because this season is fleeting. The way their toes curl. The softness of their skin. The quiet little features that change before you even notice.

Years from now, I want these images to take you right back… to help you feel this chapter again and remember just how small they once were.

Call me cheesy, but I love detail photos 🥹

Tiny fingers, wrinkly toes, wispy lashes… these are the things that change before we even realize they’re gone. Soon their hands will be as big as ours, and these tiny details will live mostly in memory.

That’s why I always make space for macro/detail images in every session—newborn, sitter, and milestone. These little details are fleeting, but the photographs let us hold onto them just a little longer 🤍

Happy winter 🤍

This session was such a reminder that the most meaningful moments aren’t always the perfectly smiling ones. They’re found in the quiet gazes, the way bodies lean into each other, the comfort of simply being together.

There’s something really special about slowing down and letting connection lead. These are the images that tend to matter more as time passes — soft, honest, and full of heart.

Lately I’ve been drawn to slowing things down.
Less perfection, more presence.

Motherhood doesn’t need much—just connection, quiet, and a little space to exist exactly as it is.

I tried a new lighting approach here, letting the light fall naturally and focusing on the feeling rather than the pose. This one felt honest, and I’m really loving the direction this work is heading.

And a huge thank you to Braelyn for always humoring my crazy ideas and visions 🤍
