Well… here we are.
Some of my big, beautiful, crazy blended family.
I definitely didn’t walk into marriage 20+ years ago thinking this is what my life would look like. And yet… here we are. And I’m so incredibly grateful.
It may not be traditional… but it’s ours—and it works.
Celebrating Adam and Lauren this weekend was really beautiful—and a reminder of how far we’ve all come.
— I’m so proud to share the title of “mom” with you. The love, care, and presence you bring into their lives means more than I can fully put into words.
— I’ll always be grateful for you, and for the three loud, opinionated, beautiful humans we created together.
And to your family ( )— thank you for continuing to embrace me as your own. That kind of love is something I will never take for granted.
To my three, , , and — you are the reason for all of it. Watching you grow through every version of this family has been the greatest privilege of my life. I am endlessly proud of who you are.
David Burns — your patience with me and all my chaos is truly the greatest gift. Thank you for showing up for me, for them, and for all of us the way you do. I don’t take it for granted.
This isn’t the path I expected… but it’s one I wouldn’t change.
