📸 A Quick Note About Print Orders & Shipping
It was recently brought to my attention that there have been some concerns about having to pay shipping when ordering prints, so I wanted to take a moment to explain how our print ordering works.
Unfortunately, shipping costs are not something I have control over. Whether the prints are shipped to me first or shipped directly to your home, there is still a shipping cost involved.
I also want to make it very clear that I do NOT profit from the shipping cost. I do not see any of that money. When you check out, the portion of your order that belongs to Kayla Vines Photography comes to me, while the remaining amount goes directly to the professional print lab to cover the cost of producing and shipping your prints as well as to the online ordering system. So I only get a portion of what you purchase.
We do not print photographs in-house, and there is an important reason for that. I work with a professional print lab because I want you to receive high-quality, professional prints—not something printed on a basic printer just to avoid shipping. The lab prints your photographs and ships them directly to your home.
I completely understand that everything is expensive these days—on your end and on mine. That is also why I make sure families have plenty of time to order. There is no pressure to purchase everything immediately. I actually still have families placing orders from galleries a year later! If ordering isn't in the budget right now, your photos will still be there when the timing is better for your family.
At the end of the day, I want to provide quality products while keeping the process as easy as possible. Shipping is simply part of using a professional print lab, and it is not an additional charge that I set or make money from.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Kayla Vines Photography and for understanding that, just like every other small business, there are costs involved behind the scenes that aren't always visible. ❤️📸
