My passion has grown into a full time focus as a brand. I am a SAHM with a camera in hand at all times. I am fun to work with and I like to capture you as you are, not from an image on Pinterest. I love to use other imagery for creative inspiration, but I still see photography as individual art and each individual as themselves.

Some moments don’t need a plan, a perfect location, or everyone looking at the camera.

Just a stroll around the block during a weekend at Grandma and Grandpa’s.

Bare feet, little toys, messy hair, curious toddlers, baby giggles, and the kind of chaos that somehow becomes the sweetest memory.

Because sometimes the most beautiful family photos are the ones that simply document how life actually felt.

25 years ago, I was 17 years old.

Twenty-five years ago, 9/11 happened. I remember exactly where I was, but somehow that girl feels like a lifetime ago.

And tonight, I’m sitting at IU, watching college kids walk around campus, and I can’t help but think about how little they know about all the lifetimes they have ahead of them.

Because that’s the thing about life… you can live so many different lives without ever actually leaving the one you’re in.

Since I was 17, I’ve been a wife for 8 years. I’ve become a mom. I’ve built a photography business. I’ve learned how to run a business, raise kids, love people, lose people, start over, grow up, and become someone I never could have imagined back then.
And photography itself has been a lifetime.
These two photos are lifetimes apart.
Not just in years, but in everything I’ve learned between them.

A lifetime of learning light.
A lifetime of learning my camera.
A lifetime of learning composition.
A lifetime of learning how to see.
A lifetime of learning how to work with people.
A lifetime of mistakes, practice, creativity, confidence, and growth.

Looking at these two images tonight made me realize just how much can happen in what feels like no time at all.
Those college kids I’m watching tonight have no idea how many versions of themselves they are about to become.
And honestly, neither did I at 17.
Maybe that’s the beautiful part.
You don't know the lives you're going to live until you're living them.
So tonight, 25 years after 9/11, I'm thinking about time. About the people we were. The people we've become. And all the lifetimes still ahead of us.
Never stop growing into the next version of yourself.

Finding stillness in the movement.
I absolutely love capturing the dynamic energy, strength, and beautiful holds during a yoga branding shoot!

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Emily, a wonderful instructor at The Yoga Space right here in downtown Evansville. If you haven’t taken one of her classes yet, you are truly missing out. She brings such a warm and gentle energy to her teaching, but don't let that fool you, because she still guides you through an absolutely incredible workout!

Have you ever thought about doing a branding session for your passion or business?

Modern love, timeless style, and one seriously classic ride.

These two brought the perfect mix of romance and cool to their session.

Proof that some things never go out of style: love and a classic car.

Here are 5 ways I provide an amazing experience for my clients:

✌️Send a welcome guide when they book

⭐Give them updates on weather and location without them having to ask

📍Check out their location and send pictures the week of their session (if I feel the need to)

🧘 Make them feel relaxed and unrushed during their session

🏃 Deliver their photos quicker than I said I would
These are all such simple ways to make my clients feel taken care of.
....

No matter the shoot, I am 100% in it with you. From curating and planning to styling and building excitement, I’m not just showing up to take photos, but I’m here to co-create the experience. I love every step of the process, and my biggest goal is for you to feel that energy and have an absolute blast.

There’s just something about family sessions that include the furry family members too 🐾🤍

The sweetest people, the cutest pups, and all the little moments in between. 🥹

These are the memories I absolutely love capturing, because our pets are never just pets… they’re family. 🐶✨

When someone says, “We got a puppy and we want pictures…” I’M THERE!!! 🐾

Eight weeks old. Puppy breath. Tiny little whimpers. Uncoordinated paws. The fluffiest little body. And that sweet, innocent puppy face that makes you want to freeze time. 🥹

These are the moments you don’t get back. The tiny stage, the sleepy snuggles, the curious little personality just starting to shine.

So yes… if you have a puppy, I absolutely want to photograph them.

MY HEAD IS ALWAYS IN THE CLOUDS

Just a little inside-my-brain moment…
I swear I do anything BUT drive when I’m around town. 😂

My brain is constantly scanning everything around me like, “Ohhh, that would be a good place to shoot.” Then I start curating the shoot in my head… thinking about outfits, lighting, posing, locations… and suddenly I’m three turns past where I was supposed to go because I’m completely lost in my own creative thoughts. 😂

Then someone messages me about creating a shoot and my brain immediately jumps to that shoot. And while I’m thinking about that one, I see something else and think, “Wait… I want to shoot THERE.”

Sometimes it’s honestly so hard to focus because I’m always wanting to create something.
And then comes the inevitable:

“Oh, squirrel… maybe I don’t want to shoot there. Maybe I want to PAINT that.” 😂

My brain apparently has 47 tabs open at all times, and every single one of them is a creative project.
I wouldn’t trade it for anything, though. There’s just always something I want to make, photograph, paint, change, build, or dream up.

The struggle is getting one idea finished before the next one grabs me. 😂

Back from vacation and thinking....

From one broke mama to another...

I know how expensive life is right now. Groceries, school supplies, sports, birthdays, bills... it feels like there's always something that comes first.

And so often, family photos end up getting pushed aside.

But here's the thing... I don't think your memories should have to wait.

If you've been wanting family photos, pictures of your kiddos, a maternity session, couples photos, or another session, but it's just not in the budget right now, send me a message.

Tell me what you're hoping for and what your budget looks like. I'll do my best to put together something that works for both of us.

Honestly, it's a win-win.

I get to do what I absolutely love, which is telling your story and capturing this season of your life. You get the memories you've been wanting without all the financial stress of wondering how you're going to make it work.

No guilt. No judgment. No pressure. Just an honest conversation between two people trying to make life work.

And if you know another mama (or family) who's been wanting photos but keeps putting them off because life is expensive, I'd be so grateful if you'd share this with them. You never know who might need to see it. 📸✨
