I swear she was just this little...

Now she’s a senior. ❤️

Putting these two photos side by side is a pretty good reminder that time doesn’t slow down for anyone.

I’m also fairly certain Ava, is going to put a hit out on me for posting this, so fi you want senior photos get them booked now before she has me taken out. 😂

Some sessions are memorable. Others stay with you forever.

I've had the privilege of photographing Ava's family for years. It all began with her parents' wedding, followed by maternity and newborn photos, and now... her senior portraits.

Watching her grow from the little girl I used to chase around with my camera into the confident young woman she is today has been such an incredible honor.

One thing Ava told me after her session really made me smile:

*"I was surprised by how comfortable I actually felt considering I used to hate taking pictures."*

Hearing that meant the world to me because helping seniors feel comfortable and confident is exactly what I hope every session accomplishes.

Congratulations, Ava! Thank you—and thank you to your wonderful family—for trusting me to capture so many chapters of your lives. It truly means more than you know.

Senior year goes by fast.

One minute you're counting down the days until summer.

What can you expect when you work with me?

A lot less awkwardness than you're probably imagining. 😆

You can expect me to guide you through the entire experience—from planning your session to helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

You can expect plenty of laughs, a few terrible dad jokes, and me getting way too excited when the light is perfect.

You can expect photos that feel like YOU, not a bunch of stiff poses that could belong to anyone.

Most of all, you can expect an experience you'll actually enjoy.

Because senior photos shouldn't feel like another thing on your to-do list.

They should feel like one of the best parts of senior year.

Almost every senior tells me the same thing before their session...

"I have no idea how to pose."

Good news.

You don't need to.

Seriously.

You don't need modeling experience.
You don't need a list of poses saved on your phone.
And you definitely don't need to spend the entire session wondering what to do with your hands.
