the myth, the man, the legend, Duane Bakke gave me permission to photograph him in his prime. We spent an hour or two walking around Shoreline Community College until the rain started to come down, but I think we accomplished our goal of getting some great shots!

had the pleasure of shooting one of the best local Everett bands, Dead Energy. Their recording studio made for a great location, and I was thankful to be chosen to take these photos to help release their EP.

I've been spending a lot of time at the local Everett music scene and found that there's quite a community of homies that I somehow kinda always knew was there but never found myself anywhere near it. Perhaps I never felt cool enough when I was younger to approach, but as I've grown, I realize the concept of "cool" is actually quite lame.

in complete awe of this majestic creature, i made clicking noises in hopes of greeting him. I was successful! although i did not take pictures of our meeting, i was able to snag these shots before he meandered my way.

have you ever pet a horse? or looked into it’s deep eyes? It can be a bit intimidating at first, but if you begin to trust it, it rewards you with affection of it’s own special kind. They are a clear reminder of what nature has to offer us.

having the opportunity to drive across the greater Snohomish county every day has truly been a blessing. I’ve met so many interesting people, I wish I could document some of them.. instead, i can share their daily views with you.
A reminder that the world is larger than you believe, and your problems are smaller than you think.

recently, i’ve noticed a lack of focus. the passion burns, but it all just ends in smoke.

I’m always seeking the next angle, but everything is so flat.

i hope to find some sort of groove, no matter how frustrating.
