Looking for the Perfect Location for Senior Portraits? Here Are Some of My Seacoast Favorites!
One of the first questions I get from seniors is, "Where should we take my photos?"
The answer? Somewhere that feels like you.
The Seacoast is filled with incredible locations, and I love helping each senior choose a setting that matches their personality, interests, and style. Here are a few of my favorites:
🌊 The Beach – Soft sand, beautiful sunsets, rocky coastline, and timeless New England charm. Perfect for seniors who love the ocean or want a light, airy look.
🌾 Open Fields & Wildflowers – Golden grasses, wildflowers, and dreamy evening light create a relaxed, natural feel that's beautiful all summer and fall.
🏙️ Downtown Exeter – Brick buildings, charming storefronts, colorful doors, and hidden alleyways make this location ideal for a classic New England vibe with lots of variety.
⚓ Portsmouth – Cobblestone streets, gardens, historic architecture, and the waterfront create an elevated, editorial look with endless options for unique portraits.
🌲 Parks & Nature Trails – Wooded paths, bridges, and greenery offer a peaceful backdrop that's perfect for seniors who love being outdoors.
⚽ Your Happy Place – Some of my favorite sessions happen somewhere meaningful to my seniors: the football field, dance studio, horse barn, marina, downtown where they work, or even a favorite family property. These locations tell your story in a way that no scenic backdrop ever could.
