diverse experience is why his clients rely on him to develop and produce images planned or not yet imagined. Based in California, James is available for local and Northern California assignments. With experience encompassing graphic art and design, commercial, school, and production photography, James still enjoys the emotional hit of creating an image. Morrison is passionate about capturing and celebrating people through his camera lens. He still remembers the first time he created an image of his own design, interplaying color, light, and shadow. It was life-changing. The process and art of photography have become a perfect foil to express his creativity and develop methods of communicating his imagination. I've been a professional photographer for over 35 years. Fascinated with the interplay of light and shadow, I continue to study the work of master photographers Yousuf Karsh, Al Gilbert, and Victor Avila. Works of art by John Singleton Copley and illustrator Norman Rockwell influenced my quest to look deeper within myself as a photographer. The ability to reveal the emotion within their subject's eyes led me to develop a distinctive style encompassing the warmth and personal details our clients embrace.
