How to Prepare for Your Vietnamese Tea Ceremony 🍵
Planning a Vietnamese wedding? Here are a few things to prepare before the tea ceremony:
1. Prepare the Tea & Gifts
Have your tea set, trays, gifts, jewelry, and other traditional items ready before the ceremony begins.
2. Know the Family Order
Parents and elders usually take part in the ceremony first. Confirm the order with your families so everyone knows when to step in.
3. Prepare Your Traditional Attire
The Áo Dài is an important part of many Vietnamese tea ceremonies. Have your outfits ready and allow enough time for getting dressed and photographed.
4. Keep the Ceremony Space Photo-Friendly
A clean, well-lit area makes a big difference. Leave enough space for the couple, parents, and photographer to move comfortably.
5. Don’t Rush the Moments
The tea ceremony is filled with meaningful interactions—serving tea, receiving blessings, exchanging gifts, and family portraits. Slow down and enjoy them.
A little preparation means you can be fully present for the moments that matter most. 🤍
