The Burke Bulldogs 12U Softball squad kicked off their 2026 campaign in dominant fashion, sweeping opening action with a 4-0 run.
With five new faces joining the roster, the chemistry, dugout energy, and grit on the diamond were locked in from the very first pitch. Big hits, clutch defense, and pure hustle all weekend long.

Last night, the Sporty-Clips Media R&D Lab headed to Potomac Speedway to support no. 54 driver Adam Suda. We are proud to officially sponsor QRF Racing and debut the Sporty-Clips decal on the car for the very first time this weekend! 🏎️🤝
To ensure our systems deliver unmatched precision on the youth athletic field, we regularly stress-test our tracking algorithms and low-light glass under extreme, zero-margin conditions. A major milestone weekend for Northern Virginia travel softball! 🥎💙🐶⚡️
Sunday marked an exciting double debut at Fairfax High School as the Burke Bulldogs officially took the field for their inaugural 12U softball season—welcoming five new players to the roster—to square off against the brand-new Hammerzone Havoc 12U in their very first scrimmage as a program!💥⚡️
Beyond the competitive reps on the dirt, both coaching staffs set an incredible standard for community and player development. From high-stakes bunt showdowns to splitting squads for a fun oldest-vs-youngest battle, the day was packed with high fives, hustle, and great sportsmanship. 🥎✨
Huge congratulations to both squads on kicking off their new 12U journeys. The future of NOVA softball is bright! 💙🔥

🌅 When is a photo meant to be framed? 🤔
I’ve taken countless pics of Alex over the years, but one of them stopped me. It was profound.
Rounding third at Cooperstown, the lens unexpectedly caught someone entirely new: I wasn’t photographing a little boy anymore—I saw a young man. No showboating … just quiet confidence and total focus on what’s ahead.
These transitions happen so fast. This is why photography has become so meaningful to me. If we aren’t intentional about capturing these milestones, we could miss them forever.
And when you freeze a moment this significant … does it belong buried on a screen, or forgotten in a fleeting highlight video? Sometimes, that moment deserves to be professionally printed, framed, and displayed on the wall.
It becomes an artifact—mounted in a prominent place, effortlessly drawing you in until you find yourself lost in its mystery and story, and cherished for a lifetime. ❤️

The run comes to an end in the Semis with a hard-fought 7-8 thriller, but this team gave every ounce of grit they had on the mountain.
To take a 104-team tournament, fight all the way to the final four, and become the first Fairfax Patriots squad in program history to advance past the Sweet 16 at Cooperstown Dreams Park is nothing short of legendary. 🏆✨
