Today, on the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, many of us will recall where we were on that day in 2001 - and the feelings that we hold attached to those memories. Today we also recognize those who are the keepers of those memories so they are not forgotten by future generations. One of these "keepers" is Franklin Childress, who ensured that the co-workers and friends that he lost at the Pentagon on 9/11, as well as those who survived and their work in the days that followed, would be remembered by the many who walk those halls today. The photos you see here were taken for Reserve + National Guard Magazine Magazine for the 20th anniversary - and still sit with us today as one of the most significant assignments we've had.

When it comes to a successful personal branding shoot, we make sure you have what you need before the shoot to feel both comfortable and confident. Swipe to gain insight on a couple of the things we do pre-shoot.


It starts with a Coffee Call!
We will have a 30 minute chat (in person or virtually) with you about your photography needs and wants, preferably over a cup of coffee or drink of your choice. ☕️

We will scout the perfect location for your shoot and tour the space for any on-location shoots. Our studio location in Fairfax, VA also provides a variety of backdrops, perfect for headshots.

We also schedule a style consult, either in person or virtually, to find the best outfits that bring out both your personality and your brand.

No matter your gender, hair and makeup artists are a MUST! We work with a handful of artists who will be there for you on the shoot day to help you shine in your best light.

Capturing photos for Stronghold Food Pantry | Military Spouse Founded the past two days was a full-circle moment for me. I was there when Founder and CEO, Monica Bassett, first pitched her idea for the non-profit at the Second Service Foundation Military Entrepreneur Challenge in 2023. I saw something in her as I was listening and photographing her pitch. In that moment, I knew that she was going to succeed.

Three years later, I was proud to be a part of her non-profit’s latest event in Northern Virginia as they brought hope and healing to fellow military families.

Stronghold Food Pantry is a nonprofit dedicated to serving American military families facing food insecurity. They help remove the stigma around food insecurity and provide awareness.

Spotlighting the faces that drive our success.

When we shoot on-location during corporate events, assistants stand in as our “models” as we set up lighting; serve as our runners and “pockets” that hold extra lenses, cameras, and reflectors; and help us set up and pack up during long days. This summer, our newest assistant, Alex, stepped up to help us out!
