FAIRFIELD MEDIA CENTER (FMC)
Fairfield Iowa's Public Access Media Service
Formed in 1993, as Fairfield Public Access TV9 (FPAC9). Fairfield Media Center oversees and maintains the (FPAC9) Broadcast Platform, Website, YouTube Channel and Social Media Platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. (FPAC9) Broadcast Platform can be viewed locally on LISCO Cable TV. FMC provides opportunities for local ci
tizens to make use of current technology to exchange information, ideas, and artistry through the video medium. FMC promotes media literacy through training in video production, editing, and critical viewing. The City of Fairfield provides this resource for residents of the Fairfield community to express their creativity and opinions in a legal, non-commercial video format. Contributors are asked to obey all laws, respect others, and contribute positively towards the common good of the community when producing content. Fairfield Media Center, Fairfield Media Center Committee and the City of Fairfield Iowa do not take responsibility for any content uploaded or linked to The FMC Website or Broadcast Platforms. FMC Committee meets quarterly on the Second Friday of Mar., Jun, Sept., and Dec. Meetings are held virtually via Zoom and can be attended by the public.
