NOW HIRING: Seasonal School Day Photographer! 🎒
Southern Illinois | $15–$18/hr + mileage | Seasonal | Full time August - December.

Well, we hired a few amazing people, but as luck would have it, we booked more schools and now need even more people. It's a great problem to have, and we love a challenge, but we need some additions to the team.

We’re a high-energy, kid-loving, memory-making photography crew serving schools all over Southern Illinois. From classic school portraits to action-packed sports shots and yearbook magic—we do it all.

📅 Seasonal Schedule
Fall Season: Late July–December
Spring Season: Mid-February–Memorial Day
Same breaks as schools—yes, that includes summer and school holidays off!

🌞 What Your Day Will Look Like
Early morning start (coffee = essential)
Drive to the school...we have 200 we work with (we reimburse mileage!)
Set up professional gear (we provide it + train you!)
Photograph awesome kids from PK–12th grade
Done by early afternoon—or stay for evening/weekend events when needed

🧠 What You’ll Need
Positive attitude
A current driver’s license + reliable vehicle
Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet
Availability between 6am–4pm daily, plus occasional evenings/weekends - Yes, we work 5 or 6 days a week, every week.
A love for children, people, travel, and being part of a rockstar team

It’s not everywhere that you’ll have the Sheriff & Lieutenant show up within minutes to help one of your employees change their blown tire, but we sure are thankful that’s what we have from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Thank you again Sheriff Otey & Lieutenant Cates for helping get her back on the road!

We need some talented people to help wrangle kiddos everyday and get our photographers snacks so they don’t get hangry. (Kidding on the snack part)…But, we need people who love kids. All the kids. Even the extra spirited ones.
✅ Seasonal position. August - December.
✅ Need to be available Monday - Friday.
✅ Hours you would be needed are roughly 6am - 3pm.
✅ We cover a two hour radius so travel is required.
✅ We work with 175 schools so job assignments will change daily.
✅ Pay is competitive with experience.
✅ If schools ask you to be a substitute teacher, paraprofessional or teachers aide, please apply. 😉

✅ We need people who like noisy children.
✅ You must have a drivers license and be allowed to drive in Illinois.
✅ You gotta have your own car. Golf carts do not count.

✅ We need ya to be polite. We love our schools and treat them like family.

(This is a full time Monday-Friday position with some weekends)

✔️We are a small, locally owned business.
✔️We work with over 150 schools across Southern Illinois.
✔️We photograph close to 70,000 students each season.
✔️We strive to be a partner with our schools, not just a vendor.

✔️We want our families, who depend on us for photographic products, to know they have a friend on the other end of the phone.
✔️Our days, on average, start around 6am and end sometime around 6pm. (Sometimes later depending on the time of year).
✔️Our work is seasonal and aligns with the school calendar. Some days are busier than others.

This may not always be an office based job. We do have days when we need help at a school event so this person will be required to help on location at job sites when we need some reinforcements. They will not be required to photograph, but they will be a photographic assistant for the day.
