13 ❤️ Somehow we’re here. Still our baby boy… and also becoming someone entirely his own.
Creative. Kind. And Fearless in the way you show up in the world. Every year, I try to capture who you are in this moment, and this one feels so you.
Watching you grow into your creativity, your confidence, your voice, has been the greatest gift of our lives. We are so proud of the way you see the world, the way you express yourself, and the heart you carry with you. It is such a joy to watch you become more and more you with every passing year.

Jaxon, the growth we’ve witnessed in you this year has been nothing short of incredible. Your love, strength, fearlessness, and authenticity — the heart and soul of who you are — continue to inspire us and fill us with pride year after year. Watching you navigate the ups and downs of friendships, tackle unexpected curveballs, and stay true to your own unique path is awe-inspiring. You remain so rooted in who you are and who you want to be in this world, and it’s beautiful to watch. Each year, you bring moments into our lives that leave us speechless — full of laughter, love, and joy we didn’t know we needed. You are sharply funny, thoughtful, introspective, endlessly curious, kind, and loving. Your love of music and performing is evident in your passion and you always bring your whole self to it, writing songs, performing in concerts and pushing yourself even when you are nervous to put yourself out there- you always do and it is so commendable, leaving us in awe at your stage presence and fearless talent. You have your own mind, and you’re not afraid to use it — and that’s one of the many things we love most about you- you are authentic and unapologetically you. You are becoming exactly who you’re meant to be, and it’s the greatest gift to witness. We love you endlessly, and we’re so lucky to walk beside you as you grow. ❤

Jaxon- where do I begin. You are the most incredible gift in our lives. Every day we watch as you face the world unapologetically with your true self, navigating challenges and triumphs with a spirit that is fierce and beautiful. Being privileged to witness your growth and the person you are becoming, bringing in all your beautiful colors and light, following your passion, and forging your own path is awe-inspiring. This year you have blossomed and brightened, believing in yourself and in your ability to put your authentic self out to the world never holding back. As I write this my heart is filled with such love and pride as I could have never imagined a more amazing person to call our son. Here’s to a Birthday as wonderful as you are and a life that rises to meet you- to quote your favorite artist-“You are the best thing that’s ever been mine.” ❤

Happy Double Digits to the boy who brings love, laughter, and life to our world. You are undeniably yourself- creative beyond measure. We are amazed every day by the things you say, how you make us laugh, and all the concerts and shows you create. We watch as you put everything you are into everything you do with a lust for life that is infectious-never straying from your authentic self. Our love for you grows as you grow, deepens as our bond deepens, and continues to teach us about ourselves and the parents we want to be for you. To love you and raise you is a gift, with each accomplishment, each challenge, each victory we have the privilege of watching your life unfold- it is the best view anyone could have. Thank you for filling our lives with beautiful memories, a ride of a lifetime. We love you and are always so so proud of you ❤️
