I’ve been photographing heirloom portraits for nearly 6 years now—but this weekend marked something new: the first time I’ve gathered them all into one intentional, once-a-year event.

And it was everything I hoped it would be. 🤍

In years past, I offered heirloom sessions anytime, any day—whenever it worked for your family. But as my own family grows and my days are more full, I knew I needed a better way to serve both my clients and my home well. This felt like exactly that.

Seeing so many familiar faces return meant more than I can put into words—some even traveling from out of state to have their second (or third!) babies photographed by me. What a gift.

We tried on outfits, we played and giggled in front of the camera, we shared snacks, and we carefully chose the images and frames that will live on their walls for years to come.

These are the moments that matter. The ones worth holding onto.

I already can’t wait for next year. 🤍

The discipline, the delicacy, and the quiet confidence these young dancers carry has given me such a deep love for these sessions as well as continued my love of ballet. It’s an honor to preserve this season in a way that feels timeless and true.

In-home newborn sessions are slow, cozy, and beautifully real. No rushing out the door, no perfectly styled nursery required, just your family settling into this new rhythm together. As a mom of four, these sessions are some of my absolute favorites to photograph. Tiny details, tender moments, and the way life feels right now, exactly as it is. I’ve been chatting with a few expecting mamas who will be welcoming their little ones this spring and I absolutely cannot wait to meet their babies. 🫶🏻
