Some of my favorite galleries have nothing to do with perfect outfits or perfect smiles.

They’re slow. They’re playful. They’re the way your daughter reaches for your hand without thinking. The way your little boy shows you his favorite rock. The way your family settles into being exactly who you are.

I’ve been thinking a lot about fall this year, and I’ve decided to do things a little differently.

Instead of filling my calendar with lots of mini sessions, I’m choosing to protect space for 10 intentional family sessions throughout the season.

These won’t be rushed.

We’ll have time to wander, play, snuggle, explore, and let your story unfold naturally. Most of these sessions will take place on weekday afternoons, with just a few Saturday morning and Sunday spots available.

I will still host one Fairhope Mini Session day because I know so many families love that tradition, but outside of that, this is how I’ll be photographing families this fall.

I want these sessions to feel like an evening you’ll actually remember, not just a box to check before the holidays.

The photos are important.

But so is the experience of making them.
