From the library to the stage. Philip called himself quiet, then told me about the jazz band, the a ca****la group, the drama club, and the band he plays with on weekends. Quiet is doing a lot of work in that sentence!

You all wouldn't happen to know where summer went would you? All of a sudden, we're here sending our kids back to school and we don't even know how we got here.

Sorry we were quiet in August... it wasn't intentional! We were so busy working with so many amazing people, that we kind of had to put socials on the back burner.

We have so much to catch you up on and apparently summer's over, so what do you say we get cracking on that fall calendar eh?

Apple picking minis are back on September 19th! This one always goes the fastest. Something about the rows of trees, and that one photo of your kids taking a huge bite out of an apple. We get it every year and we love it.

We do posed family photos at these too, so you get the nice ones for the wall and the candid ones from actually picking apples. Nobody has to sit still for long. It also gets holiday card photos off your list early, which is never a bad thing.

Spots are limited and this is usually the first session to fill, so message us if you want in!

Not every family session needs everyone sitting still and smiling on cue. Some of our favorite photos happen when the kids are just busy running and playing.

That's why we enjoyed the playground at Shadow Pines in Penfield. It's a bit of a hidden gem for family pictures: open fields, shady trees, colorful play structures, and enough room that little ones can just be little ones while we work.

Never before has such a large group been so relaxed and chill and just happy to be together. This extended family portrait session was special for sure!

I told Eli I was getting Justin Bieber vibes at this senior portrait session, and he seemed pretty pleased with that! Graffiti walls are having a real moment with the class of 2027, and we aren't mad about it. But if flower fields are your dream, we've still got you.

August has been full of class of 2027 seniors and we are not complaining one bit. It has been outfit changes in the car, golden hour scrambles, and a lot of "wait, can we try one more spot?" Our favorite kind of busy.

With life going 90 mph x 12 people, this grandma knows how hard it is to get everyone in the same place... so much so that we booked this session many months in advance! We are so lucky we were able to get this session in before one of the sisters moves out of state.

My guess? Those kids will double in size before the next time the whole gang is together.
