What a fun way to say “See You Later!” To my season in San Diego! Ali is a Real Estate Agent in our neighborhood and one of the BEST souls I know! Our paths crossed about a year ago when I accidentally incited a 70+ home neighborhood garage sale. Who knew a Facebook post had such power?! TLDR- Ali sponsored all the advertisement, had banners made and took it to the next level for this year’s event which is on April 25th at the Palomar College satellite campus in Fallbrook!

Y’all know how much I love Women Owned Small Biz - so I knows a boss when I sees one and Ali is a rockstar! If you’re looking to buy or sell in the San Diego area, she’s the one you want!

You wouldn’t know it unless you have one, but boy do I love me a SPICY little human and this little queen gave me a run for my money! She was not into me AT ALL when we got started, but once I busted out some Tangled songs from memory I became a little less stranger danger and a little more “oh hey new bestie!”.

We climbed trees, we use the word “No” as a complete sentence, some smiles got snapped and a great time was had by all 💁🏼‍♀️ one of us maybe even got to bring home a band spankin’ new purple playdoh!

Baby Ezra completely stole the show with his big, open-mouth kisses—and honestly, I think we all were loving every minute of it.

I know you can’t tell, but this was Mom and Dad’s very first photoshoot too, so watching them love on their boy while he hammed it up made this session so easy for all of us.

And can I let you in on a little insider secret? Sometimes even I put off my own family photos because my kids are at a wild age, I don’t love certain aspects of my current appearance, coordinating outfits feels like a lot and then there’s the whole production of getting everyone ready to get out the door on time…. Ugh maybe next season.

But, if you’re sitting there after bedtime, wishing you could freeze this quiet moment in time to relive again years from now (once you’re finally rested) PLAN👏🏼 THE 👏🏼DAMN👏🏼 SHOOT 👏🏼 Because at the end of the day, babies don’t keep, THIS is your perfect chaos—and it’s absolutely worthy of documenting.

Golden hour, wildflowers, and a bow-tied pup? It doesn’t get sweeter than this.

This session is extra special because it’s the very first time my junior associate, Elle, stepped behind the camera—and she nailed it. Watching her capture real connection and natural light so beautifully reminded me why I fell in love with this work in the first place.
