I got to go home last weekend to see my oldest friend 🖤
Friends since 4th grade — and I’m not doing the math because that would just make us feel old 😅 It’s been five years since I’ve been back home, and we decided that was way too long. Her boys have grown up way too much!

Getting to photograph a senior session for my amazing friend’s oldest son was extra special — I truly cannot believe it’s his senior year already. Time flies way too fast.

Ryatt is a 3-year-old handsome boy who just needs his person! He has been with us longer than any other dog, and we can’t wait to see him finally thrive in a loving home.

🐾 What We Know About Ryatt:
✔️ House-trained
✔️ Crate-trained at night
✔️ Good with children
✔️ Affectionate once he trusts you
✔️ Loves toys—destroys them, but nothing else!
✔️ Will alert bark when someone comes to the door, then quiet as can be

🐾 Where He Needs Patience:
⚠️ Can be dominant with male dogs—meet & greet recommended
⚠️ Not good with cats
⚠️ Can be nervous or insecure in new environments

Alyssa with Connected K9 evaluated him and believes his behavior is rooted in being undersocialized and insecure, not aggressive. With slow introductions and positive experiences, Ryatt can absolutely succeed.

Ryatt gives affection freely once he feels safe and settled—he LOVES his humans and wants to be part of daily life.

A stable home that will continue giving him structure, confidence-building experiences, playtime, and love. Someone who will cherish the fact that he alerts when people arrive but settles quickly afterward.

🐾 Many of you know I have a huge soft spot for shelter dogs. Recently, the City of Fallon Animal Shelter reached out to a few local photographers to help showcase some of their favorite pups—and of course, I couldn’t say no! 📸

I chose Ryatt and Max, two sweet boys who’ve been waiting the longest for their forever homes. As the holidays approach, they—and so many others—are simply looking for comfort, love, and a place to belong. ❤️

My hope is that through small community partnerships like this, we can help make that happen. Even if you can’t adopt, you can still make a difference: like, share, and comment to help these amazing pups find the homes they deserve! 🐶✨

🎃 This Halloween, I got to do double the fun! I volunteered with my favorite animal rescue — CAPS - Fallon — at the Trunk or Treat at the Churchill County Aquatic Center in Fallon, and represented my work in Hawthorne at the city’s Trunk or Treat event! Both with my pup Rex! 🐾 My kids are too old to trick-or-treat with their parents now, so Rex was my sidekick for the events! 👻💙 (and Wes, but he was my camera man 😁)
