I had the absolute joy of capturing these adorable pet portraits to raise funds for Smiley's Rescues, a nonprofit dedicated to saving feral cats, cats with feline leukemia, and more! Every dollar makes a difference for those animals who deserve a second chance.

Hey everyone!

Let me tell you a story...

When I look back on all the things I've done, all the things I've lived through, my whole life feels sorta like a fairy tale. As a child, my cousins and I played in a hollowed out lilac bush and that was our fort. We used things from my grandpa's junk yard to fill it and create our own space to play in and imagine it as anything we wanted. I chased my dream of being an artist and learned more about myself than I ever thought possible. I fell in love, had my heart broken, and then, just as soon as I was about to give up, I found the most beautiful soul I'd ever met. I got married to the love of my life and now I see him and he makes me smile every. single. day. I became a person I never thought I would be (in a good way!), but I love it all the same.

When it comes to photography (what this page is all about), my goal is to capture and show you all in a single photo, someone else's fairy tale. Whether it be whimsical love, sweet laughter & joy, or even a little bit of magic, I can't get enough!

So here's me. Kait. The girl who has her head in the clouds and never stopped believing in magic and fairy tales.
