These two are so incredibly cute I feel like I could have photographed them for hours, even with it being 100 million degrees outside.

This might give off some serious "pick me" energy, but I've heard some horror stories, & I genuinely cannot imagine making my clients wait long past their quoted turnaround time... especially with no communication.

My turnaround time for all maternity, newborn, milestone & family galleries is 2โ€“3 weeks, with a sneak peek within 2 days.

I take my deadlines VERY seriously.

I'm also incredibly impatient when it comes to getting my own photos back, so believe me... I get it. ๐Ÿ˜…

With that being said, I'm also a perfectionist. That's both a blessing & a curse.

Simply "rushing through" a gallery has never sat right with me.

I'm going to zoom into your kids' adorable little faces & edit out every tiny bo**er. Every flyaway hair. Your husband's ni***es? Gone. ๐Ÿ˜‚ (Seriously... those athletic shirts are relentless.) And don't even get me started on newborn skin. Those sweet little flakes, scratches, baby acne, jaundice, redness... it all takes time.

Every image is individually looked over. I'm paying attention to the little things because those little things are what help create the polished, timeless galleries my clients trust me to deliver.

Could I finish galleries faster? Probably.

But I'd rather spend the extra time making sure you receive something I'm genuinely proud to put my name on... while still respecting the timeline I promised you.

Because I believe both things can be true: you shouldn't have to wait months for your memories, and you shouldn't have to sacrifice quality to get them.

My rule of thumb for outfit changes during sessions is 1 outfit per 15 minutes. I'll often have mom send me photos of the outfits she's planning to bring so I can coordinate my backdrops. At first, I thought my favorite was going to be the checkered overalls๐Ÿ˜ but then this little man walks out dressed like a mini Steve Irwin (which wasn't intentional) & starts wrestling with his stuffed animals & I lost it ๐Ÿ˜‚

Incoming sappy "I love my clients" post. ๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ

Every time I see an "ISO photographer" post in one of the local groups, I'm reminded that there are hundreds of incredibly talented photographers to choose from here in the FM area. Within an hour, it's not unusual to see 80+ recommendations.

And every single time, I'm hit with the same thought:

The fact that I continue to fill my calendar is something I'll never take for granted.

In a world where people have so many options, you continue to choose me.

To the families who come back year after year...
To the clients who find a way to make it work, even when money is tight, because my work matters that much to you...
To the ones who tag me, share my posts, recommend me to friends, and mention my name every time someone asks for a photographer...
THANK YOU.
You've built this business just as much as I have.
Every referral, every kind comment, every returning session; it all adds up in ways you'll probably never realize.
I don't know if I'll ever find the words to fully express how grateful I am that you've trusted me to document some of the biggest moments of your lives.
Thank you for choosing me. It means more than I could ever put into words. โค๏ธ
