Phew what a week. Now I normally don’t really mention my blog posts. That’s because I simply haven’t been keeping up with them. Silly me.

A man of many talents deserves headshots that show all sides of who he is!

Al came to me needing headshots for two very different sides of his professional life. One for his work as a lawyer, where we wanted a distinguished, confident look, and another for his new wellness business, where the goal was to feel warm, approachable, and inviting.

With my quicker headshot sessions, I don’t usually get to meet my clients before they walk into the studio. But the moment I saw Al, I had a vision for how I wanted to photograph him. Thankfully, he trusted me and was on board!

I wanted to create something a little different for him. Not your everyday, shoulders up, smile at the camera headshot. I wanted images with character, personality, and a little more depth. Portraits that felt intentional and captured the different sides of the person behind the profession.

Because a great headshot isn’t just about what you look like. It’s about how you want people to see you.

And when you have more than one side to your professional life, your photos should reflect that!

✨ Capturing Pure Magic & Motherhood ✨

I had the absolute honor of having this beautiful mama and her two gorgeous girls in the studio, and to say I’m obsessed with how their portraits turned out is an understatement! 💕

There is something so incredibly special about capturing the bond between a mother and her daughters. The laughter, the gentle squeezes, the way they just naturally fall into place next to each other…it’s a kind of magic you can’t replicate.

They wanted a look that was soft, timeless, and just a little bit whimsical, so we went with these stunning, sparkly neutral tones paired with our dusty pink velvet sofa. The girls looked like absolute princesses, and Mom was just glowing!

Watching them interact, adjust each other’s dresses, and just share these sweet moments together is exactly why I love what I do. These aren’t just photos; they’re memories frozen in time that they’ll look back on decades from now.

had an absolute blast capturing this incredible generational photoshoot!

As you can see
in this family radiates so much love and joy. The women in this family are truly amazing, and having the father join in made the session even more special.
What a beautiful, kind, and amazing group of people. This sweet little girl is their very first grandbaby, and she is incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful loved ones who care for her so deeply.

Capturing these bonds, all perfectly coordinated in soft pinks and beautiful florals, is exactly why I love what I do!

Being "photogenic" isn't a natural talent you're born with…it’s just good lighting, proper direction, and not feeling awkward as hell while someone points a lens at you.

If you usually can’t stand most photos taken of you, it’s not a you problem. It just means whoever took it didn't give you actual direction.

You don't need to know what to do with your body or where to look. That's my job as your photographer.

Say hello to one of the nicest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph! Cathy and Kevin are soul mates. Truly they are. Both actors and interesting and talented You can clearly feel the admiration, respect, and love they have for one another. Each time we get together we don’t just take photos but we laugh and talk and just have a blast together!

This is the first time I’ve taken photos of them together. They know how to have a great time and I think these images really capture it!

Thank you Cathy and Kevin for always a great time!
