About 7 months ago, I switched trash companies and so did several of my family members. The main reason? Price! They were offering the same service for pretty much half the cost.
Since then, things haven't been the best. If I had to guess, they don't show up half of the time. I know my family has had to call them multiple, multiple times and tell them.
Now, does this really matter to me? Not really. I don't make a lot of trash, so I really don't notice when they don't show up, but it really bothers my aunt.
Unfortunately, this happens a lot in all types of industries and products. There is a reason they are cheaper than the rest. Usually their service or product isn't going to be as good as the rest.
So like I said before, I think the big thing is with purchases, you have to decide, is this something I really care about? If it's not, then go ahead and get the cheapest option. If it is though, please do some research and don't make a decision based only on price because you will likely be disappointed.
