My photographic style includes both portrait and storytelling approaches. I love the connection and emotion of a close portrait of and individual. Many times, my camera can show them what the mirror fails to reveal. It isn't about how a portrait is processed, but how it is captured that reveals the true beauty within a person. My storytelling approach focuses solely on moments. The moments within

the life-cycle of a family are fleeting and precious. Our children are only this age today. Tomorrow, they are one day older and one day closer to growing up. As a mother of two teens, I know all too well how quickly it happens. The family begins with a promise, a commitment to marry. Engagement sessions are about capturing the young love and the beginning of a wonderful journey together. Weddings are a family-wide celebration of that love. Two families are united by the love of two people. ...and then there were three. Births are one of the most precious and miraculous events that occur in our lifetime. At that moment, time stands still and seems to start moving in fast-forward motion all at once. Every little milestone is a celebration. Before you know it, they are off to school. Blink and you are ordering graduation invitations. Blink again and the process is renewed by a brand new proposal. ...and so the process repeats. There is no more rewarding task than saving these treasured moments for you and your family.
