Last year’s team set the bar pretty high, and I honestly didn’t know what this year would look like.

Somehow, this group came in and pushed me even harder.

They’ve trusted some of my ideas, gone along with the weird ones, challenged me creatively, and made me want to keep getting better behind the camera. Looking back at what we’ve already created together is crazy because we’re only about halfway through the year.

And yes, I’m going to brag about this team every chance I get. 😂 I’m proud of them. Not just for the images we’ve made, but for the personalities, the growth, the laughs, and everything they bring to TeamFlo Photography®.

We still have a lot more to create with this group, and I already know they’re not done surprising me.

And when I think about what next year’s team might bring after watching this one raise the bar again… I’m excited.

But for now, I’m enjoying this team while I’ve got them. ❤️

This is probably the easiest way to explain why my edits take a little time.

What looks like one finished image is actually a bunch of small decisions. Skin, color, shadows, background, separation, highlights, distractions… all adjusted individually while still trying to make sure the final image feels natural.

I’m not trying to completely change the photo. I’m trying to bring out what I saw when I took it.

That part takes time.

And I’d rather take a little longer and be intentional with every image than rush through something I’m putting my name on.

Her eyes caught the light before anything else did.

Everything around them fell a little quieter… the warm tones, the shadows, even the frame itself. I wanted one image to hold the whole moment, and another to get close enough that nothing distracted from it.

I knew I wanted to get in close for this one.

There was something about London’s eyes in this moment that I didn’t want to lose. The flowers, the color, all of it was beautiful… but her expression is what made the frame for me.

A little action. A little emotion. A lot of game.

One of my favorite parts of these sessions is just watching someone get comfortable and start being themselves.

After a while, it stops feeling so posed and the camera kind of disappears. That’s usually when some of my favorite images happen.

I really love this set because it feels like her. Simple, natural, and just a good moment in time.

We went editorial with the last look, but we also wanted something clean and simple.

One of my favorite parts of this session was how willing she was to trust the process. We tried different ideas, adjusted as we went, and just let the session develop naturally.

That kind of trust makes a difference because it gives us room to create without forcing anything.

For this look, we kept it simple. Good light, a relaxed moment, and letting her natural presence do the rest.

She made this one look effortless.
