This session is a perfect example of where current photography is headed and I could not be more in love. As we move away from eye contact with the camera, perfectly posed, big smile photographs and lean into more of the documentary style, playful, small detail focus style of story telling photography - I can’t help but think back to when I first picked up a camera. My favorite things to photograph were the details - water droplets from an old farm pump, horses hooves as they walked through the dirt, kids running barefoot through mud puddles - those are the photos that when you look at them it makes you feel something inside. That, is art in its truest form 🤍🌾📷
