The bloom 💛
I’ve been waiting months to photograph this agave in bloom, but this image represents something much bigger than patience.
These Big Bend agave spend decades preparing for a single bloom, sending up a towering stalk before completing their life cycle and dying soon after.
Standing beneath the Milky Way, it’s hard not to see it as a reminder that some of life’s most extraordinary moments are built slowly, quietly, and over many years.
Nature is pretty incredible.
