I am SO proud of this acclaimed artist, professional, and friend.

Two years in a row she has occupied the Top 3 spots in the industry of local , all while making my clients feel confident and camera ready, and creating a ✨magical experience✨ with her practiced production eye. My clients never get tired of being followed around on-set with a hair zhuzh, a cheek touch-up, and JUST the right shade of lip for the moment. Many a blissful expression has been captured while she dotes on our subject!! 📸

At her makeup chair, she is quick to share her wealth of practical and effective tips for all sorts of skin and makeup issues we all benefit from knowing.

Do your kids love to go through treasured family pictures? Mine always have and still do now in their 20's. I love looking at all the pictures too, but more than that I love the opportunity it gives us to sit and talk, smile and remember, and hold something tangible besides our iPhones.

This weekend I photographed a family on the porch of their beautiful new home. They had so much joy for the moment they were celebrating. They were dressed beautifully, all coordinating in summery pastels and beaming happily.

Their three teenage daughters will have the pictures we made this weekend in their own homes, and their children will ask about that day they created that magic memory in the summer of 2020. There might be a mention made of COVID, but only as a footnote. What they will remember is the joy they had in each other, and it will make them strong.

I love my job. 😭☺️
