Some sessions just hit a little closer to home, and this one was extra special. Getting to capture a family who lives right behind us and preserve such a sweet season of their lives means so much to me.

And this little princess? She is surrounded by the very best kind of love — amazing boys and men who already adore her so big. Watching those connections and little moments unfold in front of my camera was such a gift. These are the memories that deserve to be held onto forever. 💕

I always love getting to photograph new families, and this one was so much fun. Their youngest definitely ran the show in the best way with the biggest personality the whole session. She completely stole the spotlight without even trying.

So glad this family trusted me to capture this season for them. It was such a fun session from start to finish.

There is just something extra special about photographing family. ❤️

This sweet little girl is the daughter of my very first nephew, which made this session one I’ll always treasure. She wasn’t too sure about Mommy getting ready, so I got plenty of baby snuggles before, during, and after the session—and I definitely wasn’t complaining!

I’m so thankful when my family trusts me to capture these moments. They’re memories we’ll all cherish for years to come.

What a fun 8th grade cap and gown session! We spent the evening laughing, dancing, and celebrating this exciting milestone.

Her talent and passion for dance shine so brightly, and I have no doubt she’s going to do amazing things as a new member of the HSE Dance Team. 💙

Congratulations on finishing middle school and good luck as you start your freshman year. Enjoy every minute of this next chapter!

Okay, I’m officially obsessed with kindergarten cap and gown sessions. I honestly think they might be becoming my favorite thing to photograph. There’s just something about this age — the little personalities, the giggles, the missing teeth, the goofy smiles — they make every session so fun.

They’re still so innocent and carefree in front of the camera, and I love capturing that. Nothing feels forced with them. They just show up as themselves, and it makes the sweetest photos.

School may already be out for a lot of families, but it’s definitely not too late to schedule a session. These little moments go by so fast, and I promise you’ll never regret having photos to look back on years from now. 🤍

So… is red better than blue, or is blue better than red? ❤️💙 I’ll let you decide.

The fun little rivalry these girls created during their cap and gown session was a lot of fun. But truly there is so much love between these girls Between the school pride, friendships, and excitement for what’s ahead, this session was one I won’t forget anytime soon.

Wishing all of these seniors the very best as they head into their first year of college and start an exciting new chapter. But before move-in day and college classes begin… soak up every second of summer, make the memories, and enjoy this season of life.

Last day of school for these HSE senior girls, and they are SO ready for the next chapter ahead.

There’s just something special about watching best friends celebrate this season of life together — the laughter, the memories, and all the excitement for what’s next. Next week they’ll put on their caps and gowns, walk across that stage, and officially close one chapter while stepping into another.

As a mom of a freshman, sessions like this hit a little differently for me. It’s a reminder that time moves faster than we ever expect. One minute you’re walking them into school for the first time, and the next you’re watching them prepare for graduation. Time truly is a thief.

So thankful I get to freeze these moments for families before life changes all over again. 💙
