Every good story needs a little conflict… I just didn’t expect mine to come from my ankle.

Day 77 was incredible. The best wildflowers I’ve seen on the entire PCT, and we wrapped it up celebrating Frodo’s birthday at Donner Pass. 🌼🎉

Now it’s time for a different kind of challenge. My ankle needs some attention, so the daily videos might slow down while I figure this out. I’m hoping this is just one chapter in the story, not the ending.

Thanks for sticking with me. Onward. 💙

Some days the trail gives you postcard views. Other days it humbles you.

I started with peaceful forest, floated in an alpine lake, then got caught in a storm I definitely underestimated. I spent lunch soaked in my tent while thunder rolled through the mountains, and the mosquitoes made sure I never saw the sunset.

Wouldn’t trade it for anything. Every kind of day out here becomes part of the story.

Day 69 PCT. 1,000 miles. Countless memories. From the desert to Mount Whitney, Half Dome, alpine lakes, and everything in between, this trail has changed me in ways I never expected. Not every day on the PCT goes according to plan, but that’s part of the journey. Woke up beside an alpine lake, found one of the coolest feathers I’ve ever seen, dealt with a little mishap, and kept moving. Every challenge out here teaches me something new.
