My first maternity shoot is officially in the books! 🤰🏽✨

I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous going into this one because maternity photography was outside of my comfort zone. But I asked the Lord for vision, trusted the process, and said, “Let’s see what happens.”

This shoot challenged me in the best way, but it also reminded me why I love what I do. Capturing moments like this is truly special, and Kevin & Kadeja made it such a wonderful experience.

So I guess it’s safe to say… we are now offering maternity shoots! 👏👏👏

Hello everyone,

First, I want to personally apologize on behalf of Rise X Photography.

If you have DM’d or messaged us through Messenger and haven’t received a response, please know that you were not being ignored. For some reason, our Messenger had been acting up, and many messages were not coming through on our end.

After working to get the issue resolved, messages are now finally starting to come through and we are receiving a large amount at once. I’m seeing messages from over a 100 people 😳who have reached out about booking shoots, and I truly appreciate every single one of you.😉👏

Marriage is such a beautiful and sacred thing. It is more than just the dress, the suit, the rings, or the photos. It is two people choosing to love, grow, cover, and build with each other through every season of life.

It was truly an honor to capture such a special day for this amazing couple. You could feel the love, the joy, and the purpose in every moment.

Someone asked me today:

Question: “How does it feel to be 30?”

My answer:

Honestly, it feels like I’ve just hit my prime. Im in my prime🔥🔥🔥 now!!!

In my 20s, I was on a journey, searching high and low for who I was and who I was becoming. I made plenty of mistakes, and one of the biggest was constantly seeking everyone’s approval, saying “yes” just to be liked.🙄 so stressful

But now, at 30, I’ve truly found myself. I’ve embraced who I am, and with that comes a newfound confidence that I discovered a few months ago. It’s liberating to stand tall in my authenticity, no longer burdened by the need to please everyone.

I’ve learned that the real magic happens when you start living for yourself, listening to your own voice, and trusting your path. Here’s to embracing who we are and celebrating the journey of becoming!🫶🏾💪🏾
