I wish I could go
back and tell you
how much your little dream would mean to me.

You didn’t question
whether you were good enough,
or wonder
who you were supposed to become.

Somewhere along the way,
the dream stopped being something I wanted
and became part of
who I was.

And what once made me feel free
became something
I was terrified
of failing.

You spent so much time
wondering
who you would become.

I wish I could tell you
I became him.

When you finally reach your dream,
will you still recognize
the person who started it?

I’ve spent so much time worrying about whether I’ll make it
that I forgot to ask myself why I wanted it in the first place.

I’ve realized I’m no longer just afraid of failing myself.

I’m afraid of disappointing the people who believed in me before I had any reason to believe in myself.

Sometimes I wonder if I’m still chasing my dream,
or if I’m chasing the promise I made to everyone else.

When does a dream stop belonging to you,
and start belonging to everyone else?

I’m not afraid of failing.
I’m afraid of letting everyone down.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in me this entire journey. I never would have thought I would make it all the way to the quarter finals in this competition. I’m beyond honored to have been in top 1% of artists around the world. Thank you for all the votes and even though the competition is over for me, this is not the end I will make my dream come true one day !

The One Who Stayed, Winter Garden, FL, 2026 / Art

I spent years searching for a cure
to the fear of being unloved,
only to discover that the fear survived
every answer I thought would destroy it.

For as long as I can remember,
I believed feeling worthy of love was something
I would eventually achieve.

If I became the right person,
if I found someone who truly understood me,
the insecurities I carried would finally disappear.

I thought I was afraid of being unloved.
What I was really afraid of was discovering
that love would never change
the way I saw myself.

The fear was never that no one would love me.
The fear was that someone would,
and I still wouldn’t believe them.

What if the fear was never asking to be cured?
What if it was only asking to be understood?

Hope is a Dangerous Thing, Winter Garden, FL, 2026 / Art

I became so consumed by my own mind
that even hope started to feel dangerous.

There are moments when the mind
becomes so overwhelmed by anxiety and depression
that it begins to feel impossible
to separate yourself from them.

Living inside those thoughts
can feel trapped between wanting relief
and struggling to hold onto yourself.

The weight of these thoughts can become suffocating.

There is a particular loneliness
in fighting your own mind every day
while the world continues
as if nothing inside you is collapsing at all.

There are wounds the mind creates
that no one else can fully see.

I did not notice I had become a ghost
until I could no longer recognize
the person still standing in my place.
