Freezing time in this summer backyard session 🍉🌼🫧
These sort of sessions have become my favorite. The raw, unposed, unplanned freedom of a young family playing in the yard together on a warm summer evening.
As Jess so perfectly said, “Freezing this moment it time - the mosquito bites, grass clippings, bubbles, sprinkler chaos, meltdowns, personalities - all the magic of this season of life. They will never be this little again.”
These are the moments I want to capture. The sort of photographs that instantly take you back in time when you look at them. The ones that made you remember their favorite saying at that age or the way the kids played together on the swings and pushed each other down the slides. These sort of sessions serve as a good reminder of the beauty of fleeting time, and how important it is to soak up every second- even if that means staying up a little later on a school night. They will never be this little again.
