We probably checked the weather forecast a thousand times leading up to Savannah and Jonathan's wedding day.
After a week full of rain and more rain in the forecast, there were lots of prayers going up for a beautiful day. Savannah had always envisioned getting married outside in front of the venue, and she was determined to make that happen.
Thankfully, everything came together perfectly.
We made it through the ceremony with beautiful weather, and when the rain finally showed up later in the day, these two embraced it completely. Some of my favorite portraits from the day happened because they were willing to roll with whatever came their way.
That's one of the things I love most about Savannah and Jonathan. They don't get caught up in the unexpected. They trust each other, go with the flow, and find joy in the moment.
Savannah has a smile that lights up every room she's in, and Jonathan's calm, steady personality is the perfect match for her. Their wedding day was beautiful, relaxed, and filled with so much love from the people surrounding them.

It’s not too often that I photograph senior sessions these days. Between a full calendar photographing newborns, milestone sessions, weddings, and engagements, there usually isn’t a whole lot of extra availability left.

But every now and then, I’ll say yes to a senior session, especially when it’s for someone I know. I’ve photographed Landon a couple of times over the years, so when his parents reached out about senior photos, I was more than happy to make it happen. Landon is such a cool guy and I'm honored to have gotten to spend some time with him and his family earlier this spring.
