A few years ago I filmed this sweet couples wedding. Reese recently lost her husband and best friend. I believe in the power of prayer. Please join me in saying this prayer over her and her daughter.
Heavenly Father,
We lift up Reese and her daughter to You in this moment of unimaginable grief. Surround them with Your presence as they navigate a loss that feels too heavy for any human heart to bear.
Lord, we ask that You wrap them in Your comfort — a comfort deeper than words, steadier than the storm they are walking through. Hold them close when the nights are long and the silence is overwhelming. Give them strength when their spirits feel weak, and breathe peace into the places where sorrow has settled.
We thank You for the love Reese and Todd shared — a sweet, genuine love that was a reflection of Your goodness. May those memories become a source of warmth and healing in the days ahead.
Protect their hearts, steady their steps, and surround them with people who will lift them up, sit with them in their pain, and remind them they are not alone. Let Your light shine gently into the darkness they’re facing.
Lord, grant them hope — not to erase their grief, but to carry them through it.
