Before every home game, Hokies reach up and touch one stone on their way out of the tunnel.

Kaden’s senior session ended right there, with his hand on the Hokie Stone and the light pouring in. The plaques beside it say “For those who have passed. For those to come… Reach for excellence.” I can’t think of a better way to send off a senior. 🧡

Before we got there, we soaked up the sunlight and glass at the Moss Arts Center, leaned into the history on the wall of names, and caught the sun flaring over Lane Stadium like a spotlight. Somebody’s ready for what’s next. 🦃✨

Born together, friends forever, like Pooh and Tigger.

These two sweet boys stole my heart from the moment they arrived for their session. They were the calmest, sleepiest little dream team, snuggling in close like they'd been doing it forever (because, well, they had!). It's double the love, double the snuggles, and double the adventures waiting for them in their own little Hundred Acre Wood.

I'm so grateful to their mama and daddy for trusting me with these first precious days. Watching these brothers curl up together, already looking out for each other, was a moment I won't soon forget. As Piglet says, "It's so much more friendly with two."

Every detail of yesterday was so perfect! Taylor was an absolutely stunning bride, and the way Quade looks at her… You can just feel how much he adores her.

The rain stayed away, the skies gave us the most gorgeous moody portraits, and this crowd made the celebration SO much fun! And their first dance song? Officially obsessed. 🎶

Dusty + Devin ✨

On Saturday these two said "I do" at a cozy mountain house outside Asheville, with blue skies, crisp air and just their closest family around them. It was an easy, joyful, perfect day from start to finish.

Then we found the game room. 🎱 Red velvet curtains, a pool table and a speakeasy sign on the wall. We had to make some portraits in there, and they had a blast with it. Devin "teaching" Dusty to play pool while she clearly already knew how is my favorite part.

Dusty and Devin, thank you for trusting me with your day and for being game (pun intended) for anything. I can't wait for you to see the rest! 🤍
