Oh, Miss Mackenzie… how are you 13 already? ❤️

We had the BEST time photographing this beautiful girl at Oglebay Park, and there were simply too many gorgeous images for Mama to choose just one.

So we didn’t. ❤️

Instead, we designed this beautiful wall collection using some of her favorites—a collection her family will be enjoying on their wall for years to come.

Mackenzie’s finished portraits were just picked up, and I cannot wait to see this collection displayed in their own home!

The room you see here isn’t their actual home. Before Mama ordered, I was able to show her right here at Studio C how the finished collection could look together on her own wall—and then take care of the rest for her.

Julie picked up her portraits yesterday, and I couldn’t help but think about how many years I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family. I’ve watched these boys grow up in front of my camera, and more than 20 years later, they’re still coming back.

There are few things in this career that mean more to me than that kind of trust.

For Julie, we created this beautiful wall collection—a framed family portrait in the center, with two coordinating gallery wraps on either side. This isn’t their actual home, but it allowed her to see exactly how her finished portraits could work together above her own sofa before we ever placed the order.

Meet Meghan! ❤️

Meghan is a Realtor with Harvey Goodman, and we had so much fun creating these images for her branding session!

A great branding portrait should do more than show people what you look like—it should give them a sense of who you are. Meghan is confident, polished, warm, approachable, and full of personality, and I think these portraits capture her perfectly.

These are just a few of the beautiful images we created together, and I absolutely love them. Meghan, you are stunning!

I just got this photo from Stacey — I couldn't wait to see it on their wall!

Together, we designed this portrait for this exact spot in their home. It had to be the right size for this area and it couldn't have turned out more perfectly.

But the best part isn't the frame, or the size, or even how beautifully it fits above that piano.

It's that every time these kids run through the door after school, this is what they see. It's the last thing they see before they head up to bed. Their whole family, together, quietly watching over the everyday moments of this home.

This is what I mean when I say portraits shouldn't be stored in your phone on the cloud somewhere, or buried in a folder you'll get to "someday."

They belong on your walls — big, beautiful, and impossible to miss — telling your children how loved they are, every single day.

Just a few more of the beautiful Rylee. ❤️

We could not have asked for a more perfect summer evening at Oglebay Park. Rylee, her grandparents and I spent the evening wandering from one beautiful spot to another, laughing, talking and creating her senior portraits.

Rylee has such a sweet, easy way about her, and she is just as beautiful as she is natural in front of the camera. I love the variety we created for her—from bare feet and summer flowers to quiet little garden spots that seemed made for her.

Such a beautiful evening celebrating a very special young lady and this exciting time in her life. ❤️

Oh, that smile. ❤️

It was an absolutely beautiful evening for outdoor portraits last night with Alivia and Owen. And this one just makes me smile.

A big kiss from Olivia, that adorable little grin from Owen, a field full of wildflowers, and the most beautiful evening sky.

Sometimes all the pieces just come together, and this was certainly one of those nights. ❤️

And just like that… the little girl I’ve photographed since she was born is a senior. ❤️

I have been photographing beautiful Miss Rylee since she was born, but my history with her family began long before that. I photographed her mom, her aunt and her uncles when they were little children. I photographed their senior portraits. And now, all these years later, I have the incredible privilege of creating Rylee’s senior portraits.

Her grandmother has trusted me with her family’s memories for more than three decades. Three decades of little children growing up, families changing, milestones being celebrated…and now another generation is becoming grown.

I have to admit, seeing Rylee standing in front of my camera as this absolutely beautiful young woman brought tears to my eyes. How did that tiny little girl grow up so quickly?

We had the most beautiful evening at Oglebay Park and in my camera room creating these portraits, and there were moments when I found myself thinking about just how incredibly special this really is.

After all these years, I never take it for granted when a family comes back to me again and again and trusts me with the people they love most.

Rylee, you are absolutely beautiful. And what an honor it has been to watch you grow. ❤️

Oh, Miss Mackenzie… 13 sure looks beautiful on you! ❤️

I’ve been photographing this sweet girl since she was just three years old, and somehow, every single time I photograph her, she just gets more beautiful.

Oglebay Park was absolutely gorgeous, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen it look more beautiful. It was the perfect setting for this little beauty and such a perfect evening to celebrate turning 13.

Watching the little ones I photograph grow up right before my camera is one of the sweetest parts of what I do.

This one made me cry. ❤️

For nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of photographing this beautiful family. Somewhere along the way, they became so much more than clients — they feel like family to me.

To have all of these grandchildren together with their grandparents, on a set that I created, and to see this portrait come together so beautifully... well, this one got me. ❤️
