Join us tomorrow morning as we gather to reflect on 25 years since the tragic events on September 11th, 2001. Together, 70 community members, business partners and local leaders will read the names of over 400 emergency personnel that lost their lives at World Trade Center. It’s also a chance to meet with your neighbors to pay tribute to the thousands of lives lost on that day 25 years as well as the lives that we continue to lose due to related illnesses. Tomorrow’s ceremony begins at 9am, at the Big Flag located at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Laurel Street. Arrive early as parking is limited.

Firefighter Flake collapsed after suffering a medical emergency at a brush fire just outside the town of Carney and burned more than 240 acres. Fellow firefighters immediately rendered treatment, and he was transported to Stillwater Medical Center, where he passed away later that evening.
