Oh man....has it really been 10 days since I last posted😅I promise I havent disappeared and that I'm not ignoring you guys!
Social media has never been a strength of mine so I often go dark when I am in the middle of creating rather than documenting it like most social media aficionados do. It's something I'm working on getting better at. Buuuut, I have been busy behind the scenes on a couple new projects that I am excited to share with you soon.

Lately the world has felt really heavy. There’s so much going on, and sometimes it makes what I do feel a little… silly. Like photographing pets isn’t important when bigger, scarier things are happening.

But then I remember that creativity and self-expression are how people heal. Art has always existed during uncertain times. It helps us process, connect, and remind each other that beauty still exists even when the world feels chaotic.

Photography lets me capture those small, meaningful moments like the love people have for their animals, the goofy expressions, and the quiet joy that pets bring into our lives every day.

Those moments might seem small, but they matter. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do in uncertain times is keep creating and sharing beauty anyway. ✨

Photographing shelter pets has been some of the most fulfilling work I have ever done. Knowing that the photo I take can mean a pet finds their forever home gives me so much purpose. It also gives me a lot of opportunities to learn and grow as I interact with multiple different animals and their varying personalities. Below are some of the photos I have taken of shelter pets over the years ✨
