The calendar says today is International day of Charity.
When I started this little business, one of the most important things I wanted to do is to give back. I try to not only give to local organizations but also donate time to helping others.
Let's all try to give back a little. That could be volunteering at a local shelter, churcg, booster club, donating to your favorite local charity.

One aspect of being a portrait photographer is scouting out good locations for photo shoots! Clients will describe a look or vibe they are going for & I can make that happen. Whether it's a field of blooming flowers, a rustic woodsy feel, an urban edgy vibe or interesting architecture to frame you uniquely, I have many locations that I use around the St. Louis area. And of course I have the studio where I have a variety of backdrops & looks.

Let's Talk Posing!
So many people step in front of my camera, and say something like, 'You'll have to tell me what to do' or 'What do I do with my hands?' or 'How should I stand?'
A good photographer is not just about lighting, exposure & clicking the shutter.
A good photographer will:
📸Communicate with you so you feel comfortable in front of the camera
📸Will pose you in a way that's not only flattering, but hides any flaws you don't love about yourself & enhance the parts that you want to show off
📸Will observe your natural movements, gestures, posture to get genuine images that capture your true personality
So if you are nervous about scheduling a photo session, don't be. Just hire a good photographer!
