Tin Tipi Village Fort Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous off sight overnight camping.

06/05/2021

We are excited to note that we will be hosting the off-sight camping for the Rendezvous again this year. It will be fun to see all of you again, it's been too long! We just updated the Forms on the Website. If you want to print the Registration Form along with the Liability Release Form, and fill them out before you arrive, it will help us get you through Registration more quickly. If you plan on saving spots for others, you will only need to pay for the extra sights and list those people on your pre-paid folder. Everyone can bring their own Registration Forms with them. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to text us at 801-266-6017.

We have been told by the Rendezvous group that this year is a go. We are moving forward as usual and hope to see you all in Fort Bridger soon!

Thanks to everyone who camped with us this year. Everyone is so kind and we want your experience of camping with us to be a a positive one. We appreciate your input, as it really helps us to know what the needs are. Each year we try to add a few things that will help make your experience and ours a bit better. Turning a ranch into a camp ground for just one week takes endless hours, so thank you for your patience with us. From our family to yours, THANK YOU! Scott and Chris Hopkinson

Hi Everyone,

It is once again time for the Fort Bridger Rendezvous. We want to remind you about our website where you can read about our services and get any information you might need.

Our Website is: tintipi.com

Remember that all camping is on a first come first served basis and no saving additional camp spots unless they are paid for in advance with us.

You can get on-line and download the "Registration" form and "Liability Release" form. Print them and have them filled out ahead of time in order to get through the front office quickly. We will also attach both forms to this email for your convenience.

The price for camping is the same. It is $60.00 per camp, whether you arrive on Monday prior to the Rendezvous and spend all week, or if you just spend 2 nights with us. If you drive your vehicle past our office and into the backfield for "ANY" reason, you will be charged $60.00.

We are trying to make things as simple for you and us as possible. It is hard for us and our helpers at the Registration Tent to be asked to make exceptions for one guest, as we want to treat everyone the same, therefore we are trying to create procedures that will solve issues before we have to deal with them during the Rendezvous week. This year tent tags will be closely monitored. We hope that by doing this, we will resolve any issues that we are seeing.

Camping Fee:
1. $60.00 is the fee for a bumper pull trailer, camper, or motor home. Tent tags will not be given to anyone with a trailer. (You do not have room to set up another tent if you are pulling any type of trailer or motorhome)
2. $60.00 is the fee for one wall tent and vehicle. You may have one “small” tent for minor children. Any utility trailer will need to be pulled out and parked out front.
3. $60.00 is the fee for any truck or car (not pulling a trailer) that passes our front gate and "can" include up to 2 normal tents (NO wall tents). We will not question whether you have a tent in your trunk or truck. You might be a single person sleeping in your vehicle and you will still pay $60.00 if you drive your vehicle past our gate.

A. We have guests arriving with trucks pulling utility trailers full of wall tents, food tents, teepees, etc and only paying for one spot. One wall tent can be the size of a bumper pull trailer. If you are pulling a Utility trailer, you need to set up your camp and then pull your trailer out front unless you want to pay for an additional campsite. We will show you where you can park it. Tent camping gets 2 tent tags. If you use one tent tag on a Wall Tent, your second tent tag needs to be for a small tent for “minor" children. Second tents are “NOT” for married children with families of their own. In order to solve this issue, we will be monitoring tent tags more closely.
B. Also, we have a problem with guests coming in with vehicles loaded with camp equipment, tents, etc, and parking in the outside parking and then unloading their items into another truck who has already arrived and who has paid for their own site and then going in and setting up another tent and/or “camping" with us for $20.00. Again, in order to solve this issue, we will be monitoring tent tags more closely. ANYONE who drives into the ranch and expects to camp with us needs to pay their camping fee just like everyone else. The camping fee is $60.00!!! Very reasonable! We provide 90 acres of property for your convenience, 29 Porta Johns, 6 Water Buffalo's with the city of Mt. View’s drinking water, well water in two locations, garbage pickup Thursday through Sunday, 2 large garbage bins located at the top of fields G and B, Ice truck twice a day, 10 people on staff, and months of pre-planning and organizing to make this week happen. We need your help to make it worth doing this year after year.
C. We have also watched groups unload their gear into trucks from outside the property and ride in with other guests and set up tents without registering at our front gate. Anyone entering our property without registering at our office is Trespassing. If we discover anyone camping on our property who has not registered, paid, and signed a liability release form, we reserve the right to ask you to leave and not camp with us again. We are private property and have the right to refuse services to anyone.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ASK FOR YOUR TENT TAGS at the time you register! You do not get a tent tag with option #1.

Also, cellular service isn’t great on the Ranch, therefore, if you have any questions for either of us, please contact us prior to Friday, August 23rrd.

Thank you for sharing your opinions and suggestions with us each year.
See you real soon,

Scott and Chris Hopkinson
