Photographing a family with two wild-hearted boys in the Colorado sunshine feels so familiar to me.🥹 The energy, the laughter, the constant movement, the little moments in between… this session felt like pure childhood.

We spent the evening exploring the beautiful natural spaces around Fort Collins during golden hour, letting the boys run, play, climb, and just be themselves.

Spring and summer in Colorado honestly make the dreamiest backdrop for family photos — soft grasses, warm light, glowing sunsets, and that fresh air…✨

Sometimes the sweetest moments show up right at the end.✨

Last summer at Kenosha Pass, this beautiful family stepped in front of my camera during a photography workshop…and tucked into their session was the most precious little surprise. Baby number three was already on the way, and those tiny sonogram photos made the moment even sweeter.

I photographed this sweet family when their first baby was brand new, and now she’s the proudest big sister. Watching her hug and snuggle her tiny baby sister during our session absolutely melted my heart.

These are the moments I love most — getting to watch families grow and being invited back to capture another chapter. What an honor.
