I previously noted the number of significant recent earthquakes around the ring of fire and I am curious if there is any correlation between shifts on one section that may affect other areas, in particular as it relates to the overdue "Big One" on the west coast of North America.
This morning there was a 6.3 magnitude quake in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. There sure seems to be a lot of activity, just not along the West Coast of the USA. Yet.

NEEDS A TITLE - what would you name this piece?
Another from last Friday near Peetz CO. Though the lightning bolt was close, bright and somewhat overexposed I was able to recover the image quite well.

In 2004 when I started studying photography a classmate ran a competition to win this calibration puck. Simply fellow students put forward an image and Tom got to choose his favorite. The winner got the puck, he got an 8x12 print.
The puck has been wondrous over the years but now is obsolete. I even tried a Spyder puck years later and it did not do a good job. Now using X-Rites latest Calibrite Display Pro and I’m happy with it.

Nvidia please stop giving me mild heart attacks by checking your drivers before applying them, though I appreciate the quick updates/corrections.
Saturday I went to import my shots of Friday’s lightning into Lightroom. Import wasn’t working. Thought my SD card or images might have been corrupted 😳. But they downloaded directly to folders and previews shown. Tried to synchronize the folder in LR, no joy.
Google search, some cleaning out of files, driver and Windows updates. LR back up. Images imported.
Yesterday and today Photoshop refused to open; where I resize images for printing. Nvidia new update available. Resolved. Panic over. Anyone else have the same issue?
