Tayler and Brandon had their spiritual ceremony tucked high at the top of Snowy Range in Wyoming at a tiny outdoor chapel. After the ceremony we went to check out the dramatic mountain views, before heading down to Laramie for their reception. The couple loves swing dancing and showed off some of their moves on the dance floor.

Katie & Josh had a beautiful mountain wedding on a toasty day at their family property near Livermore, where there have been family weddings before. Their four dogs wandered happily around as they tied the knot. There were lots of personal DIY touches, including a custom dance floor and lighting.

Alyson and Grant's intimate wedding took place at Christies of Genesee, escaping the heat of the Front Range. There were lots of heartfelt tears and fun moments, with the haze of forest fires further away adding a different dimension to the sunset mountain views.

Sarina & Brant had a gorgeous day on top of the wildflower-laden mountain at Steamboat Resort at 9700 feet. An impending cloud, which we could watch from miles away, hastened their ceremony, but they were able to enjoy the view and finish some of their readings inside later. The couple love adventures together, including putting themselves out there singing karaoke. So they weaved it into their reception, and everyone had a blast!

You spend months planning every piece of your wedding day. You hand-make the floral centerpieces, sew the burlap silverware holders, and build an arch to get married under. Then, life throws a massive curveball.

Lorena broke her foot in ten places in a car accident just a month before the big day. She could not put any weight on it for six weeks.

For many couples, that might ruin the experience. For Lo and Bryce, it brought their community closer together. This day was a massive team effort. Friends and family stepped up to handle the setup and teardown, and arrange the handmade details and desserts to make sure their vision came to life.

Lo showed up with her crutches decorated for the party, a wheelchair for breaks, and a kneeling scooter ready for the dance floor. She powered through the discomfort with incredible courage. The accident made all the emotions even more poignant. It was a powerful reminder of what is truly important in life. A wedding is about the people who show up for you, not just a perfect plan.

Lo and Bryce, you two are absolute legends! Your community is amazing, and I loved capturing this piece of your family history.

Serrina and Dan's intimate winter wedding took place in the heart of the Vail Valley on a chilly day. The day began at the Westin Riverfront Resort, where the couple shared a private First Look with great views of the mountains. Their 'bridal party' included their Fox Terrier, Spencer T, and their lovable lab, Libby. They then walked down to the frozen river for a little 'Winter Wonderland', followed by a casual drink at the hotel bar together. The couple exchanged vows at the historic Mirabelle Restaurant, a charming farmhouse-turned-fine-dining gem, followed by a fantastic 5-course dinner by acclaimed chef Daniel Joly.
