This session with my dear friends reminded me why I love photographing families so much. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the presence we have with one another. It’s about capturing the warmth, the silliness, the tenderness, and the deep connection that makes each family uniquely beautiful. These are the moments that become memories and it’s an honor every single time to preserve them 🙏🏽🥰

❗️As a heads up, out of respect for privacy and the safety of the families I work with, I will be sharing fewer images that clearly show children’s faces moving forward. While I will always document these moments fully for my clients, I believe it’s important to protect their little ones in a digital world where images can travel far beyond our control. It’s been a while since I’ve shared on here…life has shifted, seasons have changed, and while I’ve stepped back from frequent shoots, my love for capturing people in their essence is still very much alive 💗📷✨

This session felt extra special because it was with someone I deeply admire…not just as a friend, but as a healer and a guide in her work. Tayah is the heart behind Move to Love Method, blending assisted stretch, yoga, and pilates to help people reconnect with their bodies in a powerful, intentional way 💫

My husband and I have been getting at home assisted stretches from her for the last month and they’ve been AMAZING! Seeing her in her element and feeling her support is a reminder that intentional movement is medicine.

Happy half birthday to our fierce & feisty lil chica!! 🥳 What an adventure these past 18 months have been with Melody. It feels just like yesterday when I was holding her tiny little body in my arms 🤱🏽🥲

Now she’s a TODDLER; running around while flinging her little arms, saying full sentences (some we’re still trying to figure out 😂), putting on her shoes and hats by herself, and making us laugh every single day!

Mely’s obsessed with bubbles 🫧 buses 🚌 slides 🛝 dogs 🐕 and her stuffies 🧸 She’s still shy with others at first, but becomes the life of the party once she warms up. She loves to sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” (aka “Up Above” to her 🌟), “Wheels on the Bus” and “Rockaby Baby” 🎶

Mely definitely has her moments, like most toddlers do, but I’ve realized it’s because of all the growth and development that happens in such a short amount of time. I’d be upset too if my mouth was in pain from new teeth coming in or if I couldn’t communicate things clearly. Having empathy, understanding, and compassion has been helping us a ton. She’s learning SO fast it blows our minds sometimes 🤯

Mely has been the best thing that’s ever happened to our family. I truly couldn’t imagine our world without her 🌎 She’s the best!! I also love that her half birthday falls on Cinco de Mayo 🇲🇽 It just gives us another reason to celebrate this special day 🥰

Fall is my favorite season by far. Not only because the leaves turn to shades of gold and amber, but there’s a magical quality in the air that makes it the perfect backdrop for capturing love 💛 It’s also a great excuse to cuddle up closer and have a romantic dance session among the fallen leaves 🍂

Our little pumpkin turns 11 months young today 🎃🥲

Melody is getting into toddler mode more and more every day. From taking her first steps to being A LOT more vocal she is ready to take on this next stage by storm.

She loves being outside, interacting with all the animals, saying “da da”, climbing all over us, and giving us big open mouth kisses 😂 She’s enjoying pretty much all of the foods except for mushrooms right now.

She gets sillier and sneakier each day 😏 Always reminding us how important playing and having fun are. Mely really is the cutest and best girl and we couldn’t be more grateful for the light she adds to our lives ✨🥰✨

Happy 10 months to our beautiful & intelligent little Melody 🎶🥳 We can’t believe she’s only 2 more months away from being a 1 year old…where has the time gone 🕰️

Mely finally has her first two bottom teeth 🦷 and enjoys eating practically everything. She loves cuddles, climbing up the stairs, saying “dada”, and is now practicing her “G” sounds. Maybe in preparation for saying “Grammy” and “Grandma” 😉

She’s still crawling everywhere, staying curious as always and walking around with assistance. We finished baby proofing our cabinets just in time bc she loves opening and closing things now 😅

We are so proud of our little munchkin and all that she’s learning. Forever fascinated by her cuteness and perseverance. We love you sweetie pie!! Xoxox 😘

Happy 8 months to our little sparkler ✨ Melody continues to shine light into our lives and everyone else around her.

She loves to play peek-a-boo, look into the mirror and do baby acro yoga with mama. She understands some baby ASL such as, “all done” and “more” which is making it easier to communicate.

She’s crawling, sitting up on her own, and even likes to pull up to half lift and stand with assistance. She’s constantly on the move now so our eyes have to be peeled 👀 She can be a bit sneaky and clumsy lol

Words truly can’t describe how wild it is to see your little one grow right before your eyes. You get so excited when they learn something new, but then miss those earlier days when they were so tiny…and still 😅

Life is one crazy journey, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Mama and dada love you sweet Melody!! 🎶 🩷
