In case you haven’t noticed- I’m just into posting any photo I like right now- for 2024 (and the end of 2023) I’m throwing the marketing book out the window. My books are closed for 2024, I want to serve the clients I have booked already with a passion, a new perspective, and to be 100% present for them.

This past year burned me out of the paperwork side, government side, taxes, bookkeeping, records, contracts, etc side of the business and I left the end of the year feel like I just wasn’t enjoying it. But I DO love photography, just not the business side, so until I navigate how I want to continue I’ve cut off my 2024 bookings.

What does it mean for my IG? It’s going to get a lot more random, no curating, mostly life, pretty views, and maybe an occasional wedding photo thrown in, some trial and error, some adventures, basically no rules, just L-I-V-I-N-G

While I’ll forever cringe at instant cropping- I still wanted to post, working backwards editing from our winter to our fall excursions…something about those snowy rivers gets me

Counting down the days until we can get up to the mountains again….just need to get some ice spikes for the next hike because it’s slip and slide season on the trail…but until then, with galleries delivered, I finally have some time to edit photos from our fall adventures

Ending the 2023 wedding season with a flight back to Virginia to celebrate and It was such a beautiful wedding filled with so much love and support from their families, so wonderful to be a part of!

Throwing it back….bridal portraits aren’t just a great time for us to get photos of the couple but also gives you a few minutes with just each other, without the hustle and bustle, so I want my couples to not just think about photos but also soak up these quieter moments in your busy day! Forever an awesome moment on the hillside with and these two!

Absolutely loved working with these two- and honestly I’m so lucky that I can say that about all my couples. You really spend the most time with your photographer by your side on your wedding day and that’s why it’s so important to me that we meet and jive before you sign a contract, so I do zoom if not in person meetings with couples considering me as their photographer. Yes, it takes time out of both our busy days but I can also assure that it means I get to know you and you me so your wedding day (at least photography-wise) can run smoothly and you get a gallery you love!

You know you’re doing it right when your bridal party is giving 100%! Your bridal party is about YOU weather it’s 1 person or 10 people, they’re there to share and multiply your joy on the big day, choose the people that match your energy and your excitement and it will only add to the memories you make!
