So turns out I'm not switching to real estate photography just yet... I recently my first ever senior session with a Snake! Talia did a great job. Her smile is radiant. She is the type of person that has a hard time not smiling. It was a pleasure to take her photos.

How have I lived in Fort Collins for nine years and never taken pictures at the Oval? My husband even teaches at CSU for a living! Well it was a great place to take some family shots on Memorial Day last week. I saw a meme recently that pictured the type of strength we are taught to admire with a picture of a person standing on top of a mountain next to a picture of the type of strength we also ought to admire with someone climbing out of a deep valley. Angela and Israel have claimed out of their fair share of valleys and have the strength that comes with that. It was good to see my old neighbors and although we don’t live next door to one another any more, I will always have tender feelings for their family and her angel mother Linda who passed away last year. Thanks for letting me take these pictures!

I shot three family sessions in a row on Saturday, the one thing that struck me was how all families are different, but they are all beautiful. They almost never end up how we imagined, but having a family at all is one of our greatest blessings. It was all smiles and great hair with the Blakelys as they hit it out of the park with their photoshoot. Happy Spring!

I'm Excited to announce 20 minute Spring Mini sessions! I'll send out the official sign up at the beginning of next month. WHOOT, WHOOT! A huge congratulations to this couple. Travis and my husband met each other through basketball and he his such a great guy. He's even been brave/kind enough to host our 8 (!) children at his home while Zach and I took the evening off. Natalie and he will make the perfect couple. It is a beautiful blending of families, Brady-Bunch style, and we couldn't be more thrilled for them. They were even able to smile in 23 degree weather, total troopers. So excited they were able to be sealed in the temple like they had been hoping for.
