I have finally finished my PORT HURON FLOAT DOWN 2017 video! Check it out!

While some my find it long and boring, those that participated may actually see themselves in it! Throughout the video I was able to capture literally hundreds of participants enjoying the water and weather during this great event. Did you make the video? If you did let us know and tell us the minute mark you appeared!

"Downtown" Fort Gratiot, MI. A panorama I shot from the Birchwood Mall parking lot on November 12, 2016. Shot looking east toward Lake Huron with the intersection of M25 and Keewahdin in center of frame.

I have a few more decent night shots of Fort Gratiot I just have to get around to editing.

Here is a day vs. night combination of 2 previous panoramic photographs I made of downtown Port Huron, Michigan from the same perspective. You've probably seen them before just not combined into one photo. They were shot nearly a month apart at the Blue Water Riverwalk. Day - October 8, Night - November 5, 2016.

I shot this long exposure panorama tonight from the Blue Water River Walk in Port Huron, Michigan. This is downtown Port Huron looking west up the mouth of the black river. I have a lot more long exposure shots of downtown Port Huron and even some of Sarnia, Ontario to go through but it's getting late tonight. Expect them later! These are really turning out great.

My first attempt at night time long exposure photographs. Not bad for my first try but I have a lot to learn...

In the photos: On the left is the Fort Gratiot township lights and Lake Huron, in the center and center/right is Port Huron and Sarnia, Canada. These were shot directly above my house in Fort Gratiot, Michigan at 400 feet AGL.
