My goal with this photograph was to capture the swirl the wine creates when poured into a round glass. I had the photo in my head and thought it would be easy to make it happen. 

It was challenging getting the wine to hit the exact place. The speed at which I poured the liquid, the angle, the amount of wine, the shape of the jar, and the bottle length affected how the pour looked. I hope you see the BTS of all the missed shots.

I’m glad I took the time to make this shot happen because now I know how time-consuming and tedious the process of shooting something like this is. (And that’s without counting the editing!)
