Things I'll never apologize for as a photographer:

✨ Having a pricing structure that reflects the experience, artistry, and years I've invested into my craft.

✨ Requiring a signed contract and print release. Clear expectations protect everyone involved and make for a better client experience.

✨ Having a distinct style and point of view. Every gallery is shaped by the people in front of my lens, but I won't change my artistic approach to mimic someone else's work.

✨ Limited outdoor bookings. South Florida weather, lighting conditions, and my calendar all play a role in creating the experience I want my clients to have.

✨ A non-refundable booking retainer. Your date is reserved exclusively for you, and once it's gone, it's gone.

✨ Guiding, encouraging, and advocating for my clients throughout the process. Confidence looks good on everyone.

At the end of the day, the best photographs happen when there's trust, mutual respect, and a shared appreciation for the creative process. Not every photographer is for every client—and that's exactly how it should be.

A little cafecito.
A lot of laughter.
And a baby already surrounded by so much love. ☕🤍

This Baby Cafecito shower was the perfect reminder that some of life's sweetest moments happen around a few tables with family and friends.

Still unpacking this one.

Every trip back to Hawaiʻi leaves me thinking about what it means to be present.

Maybe that's why it's taken me a while to get back on social media.

Something about island life has a way of slowing you down and reminding you what actually matters.

Nestled beneath the Koʻolau mountains, Nuʻuanu Valley carries deep roots in Hawaiian history and culture. Long before it became known for its lush rainforests and misty views, Nuʻuanu was one of Oʻahu’s thriving agricultural valleys, nourished by flowing streams and loʻi kalo. It’s also tied to pivotal moments in Hawaiian history, including the Battle of Nuʻuanu, where Kamehameha I fought to unify the islands.

The mele “ʻAlekoki” beautifully weaves romance and place together, referencing the famed ʻAlekoki pool in Nuʻuanu Valley — a place remembered in Hawaiian stories and songs for its beauty, hidden waters, and intimate gatherings. Like many Hawaiian mele, it reflects the deep connection between the land and the stories carried through music.

For this mother + daughter session, it felt especially meaningful to photograph in a place layered with aloha, memory, and ʻike kupuna — where the land itself tells stories through rain, wind, and song. 🌿

The brief was simple: "Make it look how it felt." ⚡️

Most recaps just show you who was there. I’m here to show you how loud the music was, how cold the drinks were, and why nobody wanted to leave.
If you’re tired of boring event coverage, you’re in the right place.

Shout out to my second videographer

Fort Lauderdale, I’m ready for the next one. Link in bio to book. 🌴📸

Young love 💕

Young love has a quiet kind of honesty to it. Nothing overly curated, nothing trying too hard — just two people learning each other in the softest way. A little uncertain, a little fearless, deeply tender without even trying to be. It lives in the small pauses, the quiet laughter, the way two people look at each other when the rest of the world fades into the background for a second.

Photographing my niece and her boyfriend felt like documenting that in-between stage of life where everything feels big, honest, and new. Nothing performative. Just softness, curiosity, and connection.

Hawai'i will always photograph differently to me.
Maybe because it’s home.
Maybe because love feels quieter there.

Still not over the magic of Merrie Monarch Festival 2026… and honestly, I don’t think I will be anytime soon. 🥹🌺

We were standing in line what felt like forever (like… a solid hour deep), when my hula sister got asked *on the spot* to be on … and just said YES. No hesitation.

Next thing you know—she’s skipping the line and walking straight in like that was always the plan. 😂

The lesson? Say yes… you never know what doors (or lines 👀) might open.

Already missing Hilo, the energy, the hula, all of it. 💔🌿

Soft direction, real moments - that's always been my rhythm behind the camera. I'll guide you just enough to create that effortless, editorial feel, while still leaving space for what's naturally yours to unfold. The result?

Images that feel elevated but never forced.

During every session, I make sure we capture those timeless, traditional portraits too—the ones your family will hold onto for generations. Because as much as I love an artful, candid frame, I know the importance of a beautifully composed keepsake.

If you’re looking for a South Florida family photographer who blends editorial photography with honest connection, this is exactly how I work. A balance of movement, emotion, and intention.

Documentary, with a touch of edge. Always true to you.

Happy Anniversary, J & F 💗💫

We met the sunrise at Boca Inlet, the two of you, exactly as you are. The kind of connection that doesn’t need to be explained or dressed up.

I gave some gentle guidance here and there, but most of it was already there—the way you naturally find each other, the pauses, the laughter, the in-between that ends up meaning everything.

That’s what I’ll always chase.

Honored to document this chapter with you.

Coming home to Hawaiʻi for a few weeks soon and bringing my camera with me. 🌺

Most of my work these days is weddings and editorial photography on the mainland, but some of my favorite photographs have always been the quiet ones — couples at sunset, families barefoot in the sand, moments that feel real.

While I’m home on Oʻahu, I’d love to photograph a few friends and family.

So I’m opening a small number of pay-what-you-can photo sessions. I've never offered pay-what-you-can sessions before - this is just a small, one-time offering while I'm home.

Couples, families (5 people MAX), maternity, portraits — anything simple and meaningful outdoors.

Sessions will be April 13–15 and will likely take place at a few set locations.

No set price — just contribute what feels comfortable. You’ll receive a service agreement, gallery of edited images you can download and keep, and a print release.

Because these sessions help support my work, participants should be comfortable with photos and short clips being shared on my social media, including Instagram, reels, and Facebook. You must be comfortable with gentle guidance.

If you're interested, send me a message and I can share more details.
Would be really nice to create something with some of you while I’m home. 🌺
